Synopsis:

Once again exploring the enduring magic of popular music, Carlos Saura delves into Argentine folklore to offer a fascinating tour of the past, present and future of a genre that profoundly shaped the filmmaker as a young man. Saura's meeting with some of the best artists and groups from Argentina, along with the rich repertoire of the genre, will allow us a glimpse of a very particular vision of an art that is only as old as the people that made it famous, creating a cultural document for the coming age, to which Saura adds scenic magnetism and originality.
