Filming begins on the series ‘Memento Mori’, a Zebra production for Prime Video

The filming of the series Memento Mori begins. A production starring Yon González (Los herederos de la tierra, Gran Hotel), Francisco Ortiz (El Cid, ¡García!), Juan Echanove (Desaparecidos, El Cid), Olivia Baglivi (Libélulas) and Manuela Vellés (Historias para no dormir ). The series is the adaptation of the first installment of the trilogy ‘Versos, canciones y trocitos de carne’, written by César Pérez Gellida. Filming has begun in the author's hometown, Valladolid, and will continue in the Canary Islands and the Community of Madrid.

Memento Mori will be available exclusively on Prime Video in Spain, Portugal and Andorra soon. This fast-paced police thriller explores the relationship between a murderer, played by Yon González, and the policeman played by Francisco Ortiz who pursues him in a duel to life or death, helped by the peculiar Carapocha, played by Juan Echanove. The cast is completed by Fernando Soto (Money Heist), Juan Fernández (Feria) and Carlota Baró (Amar es para siempre), among others.

Memento Mori will have six 45-minute episodes produced by Zebra Producciones (Grupo iZen) with Jose Velasco, Sara Fernández-Velasco, Luis Arranz and Marco A. Castillo as executive producers. A script written by Germán Aparicio, Abraham Sastre and Luis Arranz.
