The Gala Inocente, Inocente 2020, which is now 25 years old, has served its purpose of solidarity: the contributions made live during the broadcast amounted to 1,602,934 euros, more than 300,000 euros than the previous edition. They will be used to help all children and their families, at risk of poverty and social exclusion in Spain, whose situation has been aggravated by the pandemic.

The footballer Joao Félix, the singer Dioni of the Camela group, and the artist David de María were the new three innocent "victims" of the jokes at the 2020 gala. And, on the occasion of the silver anniversary of the Inocente, Inocente Gala, some of the most memorable jokes in its history were recovered, such as those of Jesús Gil, Marta Sánchez, Maribel Verdú, Iker Casillas, Belén Esteban and Marta Hazas, among many others.

The gala also featured the first victim of Inocente, Inocente, Nieves Herrero, to perform a surprising musical performance, and with great actors who participated in previous April Fools, such as Vicente Renovell. One more year, the gala has been presented by Juanma Iturriaga, Anne Igartiburu, Jacob Petrus and Carolina Casado. It had emotional surprises, the performances of the Magician Yunke, David de María and Camela, and the collaboration of historical presenters, such as Juan y Medio, Miriam Díaz Aroca and Paula Vázquez.
