Prime Video confirms second season of crime thriller Memento Mori

Prime Video today announced the renewal of the second season of the series Memento Mori, with Yon Gonzalez reprising his leading role. The crime thriller will be available exclusively on Prime Video as part of the Prime subscription. The new season will adapt the second part of the literary saga Versos, canciones y trocitos de carne, written by the 2024 Nadal Prize-winning author César Pérez Gellida.

Produced by Zebra Producciones (Grupo Izen), the new season will continue the duel between Augusto (Yon González) and Inspector Sancho (Francisco Ortiz), who will try to stop the murderer after he fled with Erika (Olivia Baglivi) from Valladolid. The obsession to stop him will push Sancho to the limit, while Augusto continues with his poetic and deadly work.

The second season will have five 45-minute episodes, with Jose Velasco, Sara Fernández-Velasco, Luis Arranz, Marco A. Castillo and Ibón Celaya as executive producers, Marco A. Castillo and Fran Parra as directors, and scripts by Luis Arranz, Luis Moreno and Cristina Pons.
